Attending a live event can be one of the most important things you do for your business. I’m not going to cover whether or not the information you receive at the event is great information or not.
What I would like to cover is the power of the interaction with others at your meeting, convention or even training session, and how you take advantage of the real power of live events.
We will assume that you are going to get good information from the speakers and presenters.You can, however gain far more from the live event than just the information being presented to you on stage.
When you attend a live event, the way to really gain knowledge is to spend time during the breaks, at the lunch sessions, and after the meeting talking with others in the lounge and at dinner. This is when you learn from others such as yourself who are attending the event and you should then build a personal relationship with them. Talking face to face builds trust and a relationship with others. People will tell you things that are working in their business or that are not working in their business, that they won’t put on their website or blog. You can share ideas and make plans that you could never do in an email.
You have a chance to develop a relationship with others that will last far beyond the weekend of the live event. These events are a great chance to find out what others in the audience are having success with. This is your time to develop new friends and find out about your industry from another perspective. Don’t spend your breaks with the same people that came with you. Introduce yourself to others in the room and get to know them. You may find out that the relationships you develop are worth far more than the knowledge you gained at the conference. If you are going to spend the time and money going to a live event, shouldn’t you make the most of every minute.
Too many people that build online forget that business is also about building relationships. The relationship you build with some of those you meet will far outlast the company you are with, or information you learn at the conference. You have an opportunity to build a strong bond when you are meeting in person, that you can’t build over a computer. A large number of internet marketers will tell you that it was at dinner or in the lounge that they developed the most important partnership of their career.
Do not pass up the opportunity to attend any live event in your industry with the purpose of gaining as much knowledge from the speakers and to use every minute of the weekend meeting and learning from others around you.

You are bound to feel a new sense of self-respect by being true to things that really matter to you, such as challenging yourself to succeed, exploring the limits of your abilities, and friendships developed along the way. When you pursue your path in this manner without regard to all the labels others say you’d need for your confidence and self approval, you learn how to place trust in yourself.
When you learn how to place trust in yourself, you are no longer risking your identity by placing trust in others who may or may not have your best interests at heart. It’s time to think about what is important to you and what you want to be remembered for. Throughout your lifetime you will be judged by others, not by how much money you made, but how you achieve your success and treated those around you while gaining that success.
Build a stronger future and solidify those aspects in your life. There are things you should never give up, no matter what. Turn to your spirituality, your core values, and remember if you are you are true to yourself, then the eventual challenges that arise, will be met and overcome by the belief you have in yourself.
Live with confidence and know that you have what it takes to become successful in your very own special way.

The power of building your social media empire as a team or tribe as we call it has never been more evident than by observing the results our team is getting with the use of blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. This is a fairly new concept as people have been building blogs and websites by themselves and relying on other methods to promote their website i.e. word of mouth and some of the other viral components of the Internet. What we have done together as a team is to take the power that each individual has with their own site and their own actions and use that to exponentially grow everyone on the team’s own site. The reason teamwork is stressed in sports is because the power at the team is so much larger than the actions of any individual. When working with a small team of like-minded individuals helping each other through syndication, our team can take a person’s website or blog and get results that would take them many months if they were working alone.
We have found that through blogging, social bookmarking, commenting on others’ blogs, and the use of Twitter and some of the other social media sites that working together we can help each others blog get many more back links and bookmarks than any of us could do on our own. This has a dynamic effect on the way the search engines look at your website. Instead of getting just a couple of back links to your website you now have the potential to get hundreds of backlinks to your website. The results are realized by everyone on the team as they are all commenting and leaving messages on each other site. This is a relatively new phenomenon that is only now being used by a few individuals on the Internet.
Once a person understands the concept of building a tribe or team, the largest obstacle they face is who do they team up with to accomplish this task, as it takes effort on everyone’s part to make sure they do a little bit every day. Just a small amount of effort each day from each individual on the team adds up to H. remand this amount of back linking and social media activity that will help build everyone’s presence on the Internet.
I will be covering some of the individual aspects of how to build as a team, how to find the right members to work with, and what daily tasks and tools are needed to accomplish this. This is not something that can be done overnight, however you will very quickly see the results that you get as a team member working together to promote everyone’s website. The idea that you can help yourself by helping others first is a universal idea that is only now being realized by members of the Internet and the social media crowd. What we are doing with this method is creating a buzz around your website. When you create a buzz of activity to your website and comments about your website people soon notice there’s something going on and come to visit your site.
